CP Rail Work Closes 3rd Avenue Between Duchess Street and Just South of 33rd Street on September 11 and 12

Third Avenue will be closed to all traffic between Duchess Street and just south of 33rd Street from 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11 until 6:30 a.m. on Monday, September 13. Through traffic on 33rd Street will not be affected by the closure. Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) requires the closure for a rail replacement project. During the construction, through traffic on 3rd Avenue southbound and through traffic on Warman Road northbound will be routed via 7th Avenue. Signs will be in place directing motorists.

Motorists, pedestrians and cyclists are reminded to allow extra time when travelling through construction areas, watch for work crews, and obey all detours, signs, and barriers.

The City of Saskatoon thanks motorists for their patience during construction season.
