Leaves & Grass Collection Program 2010

The 2010 program is now full. Saskatoon has once again shown a committment to diverting organic yard waste from the Landfill.

If you are interested in recycling your yard waste please visit one of our two free compost depots.

How does the program work?

Subscribers to the program receive bi-weekly pickup of their leaves and grass - keeping those organics out of the landfill. Pick-ups run from early May to early November. All collected material is composted.

The subscription cost for the program is $40. Subscribers to the program are provided with an individual green leaf and grass roll-out cart. The contents of these carts are collected throughout the growing season.

REMEMBER:  All material must be unbagged and must consist only of leaves, grass clippings and non-woody vegetation.  Tree branches, woody stalks, household organic waste or any bagged material is unacceptable and will not be picked up.
