The City of Saskatoon is continuing the Leaves & Grass Collection Program to divert these organic materials from the Saskatoon Landfill. All material collected will be composted.
How does the program work?
Subscribers to the program receive bi-weekly pickup of their leaves and grass - keeping those organics out of the landfill. Pick-ups run from early May to early November.
The subscription cost for the program is $50. Subscribers to the program are provided with an individual green leaf and grass roll-out cart. The contents of these carts are collected throughout the growing season.
REMEMBER: All material must be unbagged and must consist only of leaves, grass clippings and non-woody vegetation. Tree branches, woody stalks, household organic waste or any bagged material is unacceptable and will not be picked up.
Collection Dates
Collection will occur every two weeks starting in early May. Exact pick up dates for your neighbourhood are listed below. Make sure your roll-out cart is at the curb on the front street on your collection day to ensure pick up.
