Every year the City establishes a number of Christmas tree drop-off locations, open from December 26 until the end of January. Trees dropped off at these locations are chipped and turned into compost or used as mulch.

The 2010-2011 drop off locations are:

• Credit Union Centre parking lot
• Doukhobor Society of Saskatoon parking lot (902, 17th Street West)
• Edmonton Avenue/Avenue P Recycling Depot
  
• George Ward Pool parking lot (5th Street)
  
• Primrose Recycling Depot (next to Lawson Civic Centre)
  
• Lowe Road Recycling Centre
  
• Meadowgreen Recycling Depot
  
• Wildwood Golf Course parking lot
