New iMap

The City of Saskatoon is proud to announce the release of it's new iMap system.  This new system provides more functionality and offers an easier to use interface than our previous offering. 

Enhancements Include

• Additional Browser Support (all browsers supported by Microsoft Silverlight)
• Global Search (Search for almost everything on the map from one place)
• I Want To.... (List of common map functions)
• Data Flyouts (Hover over points or areas to find information about them)
• Enhanced Measuring tools (Measure distance or area with detail)
• Attach additional spatial data (add 3rd party Shapefiles, CSV or other GIS data)
• Customization by adding markup and text to maps
• Link to Bing Oblique Imagery
• Link to Google Street View

Requirements:

This new system is based off of Microsoft Silverlight.  You will need a compatible browser with the Microsoft Silverlight viewer installed in order to use the new iMap system. 

If you do not already have the Silverlight Viewer installed, when you launch iMap, you will be asked to install it.
