Application Delivery Services Section
This section is responsible for supporting all of the current corporate information systems, the customization of these systems to meet the City's business needs, development of new applications, the testing (with the client) of new application releases, and corporate data administration. This section is also responsible for managing the Project Office.
- Data Administration
This team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the corporate data model, the setting of data standards, naming conventions, promotion of data integrity through encouraging single sources of data, corporate wide data sharing, effective data management, and providing data support to the City where required. This team is also responsible for developing Business Intelligence solutions for the City.
- Financial Applications
This team is responsible for all of the City’s corporate financial applications. These include general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, personnel, benefits and payroll, purchasing, inventory, budgeting and Corporate Services departmental applications.
- Utilities, Tax and Assessment Applications
This team is responsible for the Customer Information System (Utility Billing, Property Tax and Assessment), the Assessment Office System (computer-aided mass-appraisal system), the Revenue Collection System, the corporate Cashiers System, and the Remittance Processing System.
- Small Systems
This team is responsible for the Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management and Inspections applications for the Fire & Protective Services, Transit Services applications, work order and job costing for Infrastructure Services, and Treasurers applications.
