Fitness & Wellness Consultants
A Kinesiology Degree is preferred. Kinesiology students with a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification may also qualify. We are currently seeking people with the following Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP) certifications:
- Certified Personal Trainers (CPT)
- Certified Exercise Physiologists (CEP)
As a Fitness Consultant, you will: perform personal training services and weight room orientations, and conduct educational workshops. For more information call 975-7808.
As a Wellness Consultant, you will: deliver programs to First Step/Wellness program participants. For more information call 975-3121.
Group Fitness Leaders
Anyone may train to become a fitness leader. You will lead a safe exercise group by providing effective and appropriate exercises in order to meet the needs of participants. Available positions:
- Group Fitness Instructors: Land Fitness, Aquatic Fitness, Fitness Yoga
- Specialized Land Fitness Instructors: Pre & Post Natal Exercise, Exercise for Older Adults

Other Contract Positions
If you are interested in sharing your skills and knowledge in the area of recreation, we are always looking for Recreation Program Instructors to teach various classes such as Learn to Skate or for specific age groups (preschool, children, youth, etc.).
