Saskatoon hosts a number of festivals, special events and tournaments every year. These events range from cultural celebrations and artistic performances to weddings and anniversaries to championships. Whatever their individual focus they all have one thing in common…to enhance the quality of life for Saskatoon residents!

Where to Hold Your Event?
The City of Saskatoon has a number of parks, public spaces, civic facilities and sports fields for hosting events. Each location provides a unique advantage depending on your requirements!

Planning Ahead
Careful planning can help to ensure your special event is a success. This page provides resources to help!

Park & River Landing
Event Space
Park space, including the Vimy Memorial Band Shell in Kiwanis Park, is available free of charge for event use; however, events do not have exclusive use of the park. Events, especially smaller occasions, often end up sharing park space with the general public.

There are also many scenic venues available to book at River Landing including an amphitheatre, belvederes and a fire vessel (there is a charge to book the fire vessel).

You may not fence off the park or River Landing in a manner that blocks access to the Meewasin Valley Authority (MVA) trail or that prohibits access through the site.

To book these spaces please contact the City of Saskatoon Leisure Services Allocations office at 975-3366 or fill out the Park Special Event Application Form.
