Saskatchewan Archives Information Network
- SAIN is a database of descriptions of archival material held in Saskatchewan archives. It also includes the Saskatchewan Photograph Database - an index of photographs (often including scanned copies) from archives across the province. While the search function is very good, it is not completely intuitive. New users will benefit from a few minutes spent going through the "help" files.

The Library and Archives of Canada also has a homestead database, here, containing information about (and sometimes scanned copies of) the Letters Patent that were issued to successful homesteaders. Sometimes the information on the two sites differs, and it may be worthwhile taking the time to check both.
