The Revenue Branch is responsible for the collection, control, disbursement, and investment of all corporate funds. In addition, Revenue is responsible for property tax and utility billing, parking ticket administration, regulation and enforcement of various civic bylaws, and the administration of the Animal Services Program.

• The Revenue Branch produces bills for Saskatoon Light and Power and the Water and Wastewater Utilities along with the following utility services: customer requests for connections and disconnections of service, meter reading, utility billing, account inquiries, credit and collection services.



• Property tax is collected on behalf of three taxing authorities: Public and Separate School Boards, the City of Saskatoon, and the Saskatoon Public Library. Property tax services include: the calculation and creation of property tax notices, customer inquiries, and tax collection.



• Parking ticket data management and parking permit sales are provided along with parking ticket inquiries, parking ticket collection, and sale of residential and disabled parking permits.



• Investment Services is responsible for the management of the civic investment portfolios, monitoring and forecasting cash flows, debt administration, debt issuance, and the administration of the City’s banking services and armoured car service contracts.



• The Animal Services Program offers the following services through the Revenue Branch: animal licences for cats and dogs, off-leash recreational areas, a subsidized spay/neuter program, animal control services, education and enforcement programs.



• The Revenue Branch also provides licensing for taxicabs and for all businesses without a permanent Saskatoon location.
