Councillor Bev Dubois was born and raised in Saskatoon. She attended Prince Philip School and graduated from Walter Murray Collegiate and the University of Saskatchewan. Bev has an extensive business background with Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants, Meewasin Foundation, Regional Economic Development Authority as well as Cogema Resources.

Councillor Dubois was elected as Ward 10 (Northeast Saskatoon) City Councillor in 2003 and re-elected in 2006 and 2009. She is serving or has served on the following committees: Planning and Operations, Administration and Finance, Audit, Library Board (Vice Chair), City Centennial Committee, Municipal Planning Commission, Tourism Saskatoon, Credit Union Centre, Wanuskewin Heritage Park, Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority (SREDA), Saskatoon Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP), Sutherland Business Improvement District, the Technical Planning Commission, District Planning Commission, The City of Saskatoon Waste Minimization Task Force, The Yellowhead Highway Association and Board of Trustees Defined Contribution Plan. Bev sits on the Board of Police Commissioners and is a trustee for the Police Pension Plan. She is a past Director of the Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association (SUMA) and a current director with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM). She is the Chair of the FCM Partners for Climate Protection Committee, as well as Vice-Chair of FCM’s standing committee on Municipal Finance and Intergovernmental Arrangements. She also is president of the Saskatchewan Library Trustee Association (SLTA).

Councillor Dubois remains committed to the community with organizations outside of City Council responsibilities. Bev is Chairperson of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, sits as a board member of Habitat Humanity Woman’s Build, as well as member of the University of Saskatchewan Senate. Bev is chair of the nominations committee for the Senate. Bev supports many charities in the City of Saskatoon in many different ways.

Bev has a public relations and marketing company and enjoys golfing, running the Meewasin Trail, working out, cooking and reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Councillor Dubois has worked hard over the years to create a positive, vibrant community for the benefit of all residents of Saskatoon. She always looks forward to working with the citizens of Saskatoon to make our beautiful City of Saskatoon a great place to live, work and raise a family.
